The journey begins from Ha Giang City and takes you through Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, the Twin Mountains, Yen Minh Town, Tham Ma Pass and the Hmong King’s Palace before arriving in Dong Van Town. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking mountain views, limestone landscapes, rice fields and the peaceful daily life of local ethnic villages.

On the second day, the tour continues to one of the most spectacular parts of the Ha Giang Loop: Ma Pi Leng Pass. You will have the chance to enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and Nho Que River, visit Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, then continue to Du Gia Village for a relaxing evening in a local homestay surrounded by nature.

The final day brings a peaceful morning in Du Gia, with time to enjoy the village atmosphere, waterfall experience and local scenery before visiting Lung Tam Village, known for the traditional textile work of the Hmong people. The tour then returns through Quan Ba, Heaven Gate and Bac Sum Pass before arriving back in Ha Giang City.

Day 0 Pickup

We will pick you up by bus from locations such as : Hanoi, Ha Long, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, Noi Bai Airport, and Cao Bang on the day before your Ha Giang Loop tour begins. Upon arrival in Ha Giang City, we will provide accommodation for you to rest before the journey starts. Please note that this overnight stay is included in the tour price and free of charge, it is a basic accommodation. If you prefer a more luxury option, please contact our team and we will assist you in booking a suitable hotel at the most reasonable cost.

We usually offer pick-up at hotels in the Old Quarter. For other locations, we will confirm the specific pick-up point with you 24 hours in advance.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1HA GIANG CITY -DONG VAN

Route: Heaven Gate -Bac Sum Pass-Tham Ma Pass- H’mong King Palace

8:00 AM: Meeting your guide and easy rider then our brilliant Ha Giang Loop adventure begins. The road leads you to Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven Gate, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town. Having lunch in Yen Minh Town. Short break and drive towards Dong Van, through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass. Indeed, the whole Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam. The landscape is composed of unlimited rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and breath-taking views. It also gives you the chance to experience the life of hill-tribe villages where local people works on the land. Visiting Hmong King’s Palace, a home of Vuong’s family in Sa Phin. Arrival Dong Van in quite late afternoon, enjoy a local Vietnamese dinne after a long day of mind blowing landscape views. At night time, free and easy before another day of adventures. Day 2DONG VAN TOWN – DU GIA LOCAL VILLAGE

Route: Happiness road - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac Town- Ban An Stream - Du Gia Village

After breakfast we leave Dong Van Town to enter the highlight of the journey, the Ma Pi Leng Pass It is well known for its abrupt cliffs and breath-taking views, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam with its highest point at an altitude of 2,000 meters. Swimming on waterfall will be unforgetable. As experience how spectacular the pass is, we will trek the Sky Path to have a closer look at the whole valley and Nho Que river. From the top view, there is a picturesque 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass. Once on the peak, you might feel overwhelmed by the majestic mountains and rivers. Then we continue to drive through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due where our break for lunch is served, and Boat Trip Ban An Stream. In the afternoon, we pass through the epic mountainous to Du Gia Homestay where located in the middle of green rice fields. Day 3DU GIA - LUNG TAM VILLAGE - HA GIANG - HANOI

Route: Du Gia – Lung Ho - Duong Thuong Valley- Lung Tam Village - Ha Giang

On the last day of our journey, Breafast with green Vietnam Tea, walking around beautiful village. Visit Lung Tam -The village is occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities, who are skillful textile products. We then cross Quan Ba town and have a look at the Nui Doi mountain. After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and go back to Ha Giang late afternoon, before getting the 4:30 PM Comfort Limosine bus back to Hanoi Oldquarter.
